Balck screen while trying to play Dolby Vision

Some devices are known to have problems with Dolby Vision, especially dolby vision profile 7, these device are for example new Google TV Streamer or FireStick 4k Max, perhaps also some other devices are affected by this too.

If you want to avoid black screen while playing Dolby Vision profile 7 you can try following things:

Disable dolby vision in your TV settings

Disable dolby vision in your tv stick/tv box settings

If your tv has 2.0 HDMI ports you can try switching HDMI cable from 2.1 HDMI port to 2.0 HDMI port.
